Environment
During the month of June, TakingITGlobal is fostering the spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility towards the enhancement of environmental quality on a local, regional, and global level. The theme of environment will support the idea of youth becoming active agents of sustainable and equitable development, while promoting an understanding that communities are pivotal to changing attitudes towards environmental issues. Emphasis will be on advocating for partnerships that will ensure all nations and peoples enjoy a safer and more prosperous future.
Special recognition will be given to the World Environmental Day and this years topic is titled, "Water - 2 billion people are dying for it", which will be celebrated on the 5 June. You are encouraged to submit your projects, artwork and articles related to this topic and the overall theme of Environment.

| Environmental Challenge
This month's challenge is the sensitize environment
issues in your community or country to the TakingITGlobal
members. What is it that you wish you could change? Is
there too much pollution? Do you have water and/or sanitation
problems? Is littering rampant? Now you have an opportunity
to expose these issues so that the rest of the global
community can see what is going on in your local community
right here.
